We would like to inform you of a major design change affecting our 30kV, 50kV & 70kV X-rays generators.
Due to a sudden obsolescence of the connectors currently used, we are obliged to implement a new connector design for our generators with, as a consequence, the NON-COMPATIBILITY with previous cables provided by SEREL.
This change has been introduced to ensure that we can continue to provide the availability, responsiveness and level of service that our customers have come to expect from us.
What is changing?
The connector interface of the X-ray generators is modified, which also requires a corresponding change to the associated generator cable.
As of the implementation of this new design, all new systems leaving our factory are now equipped with the new connector generator and corresponding cable definition.

No impact on system performance
We would like to emphasize that this design change has no impact whatsoever on the performance, functionality, reliability or operating characteristics of the system.
The change concerns the generator connector interface and its associated cable only. Consequently, when replacing a generator with the new definition, the corresponding new cable must also be used. A new cable will be automatically delivered with the new generator when needed.
